Have you seen the infomercial for the Ninja Kitchen Blender? In the ad, the blender system claims to replace numerous kitchen appliances – a juicer being one of them. After researching blenders and food emulsifiers I decided to give the Ninja blender a try because 1) it is cheaper than competitors 2) it promised to replace 4 kitchen appliances (juicer, mixer, blender, food processor).
I was skeptical of the Ninja from the start, but I decided to give it a try. Every morning I either make a fresh fruit juice or a smoothie. I get my daily dose of fruit and it tastes delicious. So one of the first things I did after buying the Ninja was
made juice attempted to make juice. I threw a few oranges in the pitcher, flipped the ‘On’ switch and waited a few minutes. The result was a chunky, orange mush with a consistency too think to drink. Don’t be fooled by the commercial! The Ninja Kitchen Blender System DOES NOT JUICE. Watch the video above to see the difference between the Ninja and a real juicer. No comparison.
